What would it look like if you were more in your life? If you struggle with old emotional patterns, it may show up in all kinds of ways! You may be feeling distracted, feeling like you're not "enough," finding it difficult to form meaningful relationships, or not feeling like you know who you are. These conflicts may also show up in your body, as well as in the way you treat it. Maybe you have headaches, chronic lower back pain, difficulty nourishing yourself, or have a fraught relationship with how you look. We collaborate and figure out how to make you an active participant in your healing and get you back in your life.
Before I became a therapist, I was a Pilates instructor for 15 years. The body and the mind are undoubtedly connected. The body tells a story, and therapy gives us the tools to be able to articulate that story. The mind and body work together as a team only as effectively as we are able to be curious about them!
If you are struggling in your romantic relationship, this can also show up in ways that can be very upsetting and that you may have a hard time identifying or articulating. Couple's therapy is no longer seen as a "last resort." Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we can work together to help you deepen the connection. Our relationships can be very healing when we know how to show up for each other. If you're ready to be an active participant in your healing, individually or as a couple, let me help get you there.
